Sunshine Queens, Delta Babes, others, to play Group B fixtures at Remo Stadium - NWFL

The Secretariat of the Nigeria Women's Football League has endorsed the requests submitted by all the Championship teams in Group B to change the venue for their subsequent games, bsnsports.com.ng can report.
The announcement was made public by the NWFL on Wednesday morning organizers on behalf of the Secretariat following multiple concerns raised by the teams in Group B regarding the state of the FC Ebedei Stadium in the Sagamu area of Ogun State.
Sunshine Stars, Delta Babes, Lakeside Queens, Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Imo Striker Queens, and Honey Badgers FC unanimously complained of the difficulties experienced in Sagamu after three MatchDays.
The Secretariat subsequently approved the change of venue to that of Group A teams at the Remo Stars Stadium, in Ikenne, Ogun State, for MatchDays 4 and 5.
The statement released by @TheNWFL reads in full:
"Following the complaints of all the participating teams in Group B of the 2023 NWFL Championship, the NWFL secretariat has endorsed the movement of the remaining matches of Group B teams to Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State, with immediate effects.
"Consequently, all MatchDay 4 and 5 of Group B scheduled for the 12th and 14th of July, 2023, will be played at Remo Stars FC Stadium, respectively."
The development will see the likes of Sunshine Stars, Delta Babes, and table toppers - Lakeside Queens take on Imo Striker Queens, Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, and Honey Badgers respectively for their MatchDay 4 fixtures at the updated venue.
