Sunshine Stars Not Regarded As Big Team In NPFL- Agoye

Head Coach of Sunshine Stars, Edith Agoye has declared that his team is not regarded as one of the big sides in Nigerian top-flight football, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Agoye, who acknowledged the tag against his team, noted that they will use it to their own advantage as a motivation to do exploits in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Agoye commended his players and everybody associated with the team for the tremendous progress despite suffering a one-nil defeat to Enyimba Int'l in a MatchDay 11 fixture of the 2023/2024 NPFL season.

"We give it to the coaches, players and everybody who have been putting in their effort to see the team is improving and progressing day by day. 

"Nobody gave it to us. We understand it. They don't regard us as any of the big boys in Nigerian football. We embrace this situation and will continue to use it as motivation to push. And like we surprised many people last season, we will do likewise this season."
