Super Eagles’ Moffi Unable to Rescue Nice in Defeat to Metz

Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi featured for OGC Nice as they suffered a 2–1 defeat to FC Metz in Sunday’s Ligue 1 encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Moffi, who has now made seven league appearances this season and scored two goals, was introduced as a 79th-minute substitute for Mohamed-Ali Cho.

Nice had taken the lead in the 35th minute through Cho, but Gauthier Hein levelled for Metz from the penalty spot eight minutes after the restart.

With the game finely balanced, Habib Diallo struck in the 84th minute to secure all three points for the home side, handing Nice their second league defeat of the campaign.
