Super Eagles Boss Undergoes Recertification Course In France

The head coach of Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has successfully completed a coaching recertification course in France as part of efforts to update his professional credentials, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The French-born tactician has remained in the spotlight in recent months following his impressive outing with Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, where he guided the team to a third-place finish.

 His performance at the continental tournament earned him commendation from stakeholders and fans alike.

Chelle was also in charge of the team during a mini invitational tournament held in Turkey shortly after the AFCON campaign, continuing preparations for upcoming international assignments.

Since returning from that engagement, the coach has been in France, where he undertook the recertification programme aimed at revalidating his coaching license in line with modern standards and regulatory requirements.

The move underscores Chelle’s commitment to continuous professional development as he seeks to strengthen the Super Eagles ahead of future competitions.
