Super Eagles Camp Opens; 16 Players Take Part in First Training Session

Nigeria's preparations for the upcoming international friendly against Poland got underway on Monday, June 1, with the Super Eagles officially opening camp in Warsaw, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A total of 18 players have reported to camp so far, although only 16 participated in the team's first training session on Monday evening.

The early arrivals include goalkeepers Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho and Arthur Okonkwo, alongside experienced internationals Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, Semi Ajayi, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika.

Forwards Akor Adams, Terem Moffi, Rafiu Durosinmi and Paul Onuachu are also among the players already in camp, while defenders Zaidu Sanusi, Igho Ogbu, Bruno Onyemaechi and Emmanuel Fernandez have joined preparations.

Tochukwu Nnadi and Abdullahi Ibrahim complete the list of players currently in Warsaw as the coaching crew continues to await the arrival of the remaining squad members.

The Super Eagles are expected to intensify preparations in the coming days ahead of the international friendly against Poland.
