Super Eagles continued their preparations for Tuesday's international friendly against Portugal with a second training session in Lisbon on Sunday under the supervision of head coach Eric Chelle, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A total of 22 players took part in the two-hour workout, which commenced at 5:00 p.m. and concluded at 7:00 p.m. as the team intensified preparations for the highly anticipated encounter.

Meanwhile, defender Igho Ogbu is set to undergo a medical scan in Lisbon on Monday to assess the extent of an injury sustained ahead of the fixture. The results of the examination will determine his availability for the match against the Portuguese side.

The Super Eagles head into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Poland last week, a result that formed part of their preparations following their triumph at the 2026 Unity Cup.

Nigeria will face World Cup-bound Portugal on June 10, with the friendly expected to provide another valuable test for Chelle's side as they continue to build momentum and evaluate their squad ahead of 2026 Africa Nations Cup qualifier.
