Super Eagles Defender Scores, Suspended For Next Match

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyeamaechi of Boavista found the back of the net on Monday evening in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, helping his team in a 3-2 loss to Casa Pia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Onyeamaechi scored Boavista's second goal and also provided an assist for their first goal in the match.

However, the Nigerian international was one of five Boavista players to receive yellow cards during the game.

His yellow card, which marked his fifth of the season, will result in a suspension for Boavista's upcoming match against Sporting Braga on Sunday.
