Super Eagles Defender Seals Cardiff City Move

Super Eagles defender Gabriel Osho has made a return to English football, joining Championship side Cardiff City on a permanent deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 27-year-old centre-back, who was instrumental in Luton Town’s promotion to the Premier League in the 2022/23 campaign, featured in 21 top-flight matches the following season, scoring twice including a memorable strike against Arsenal.

Osho spent last season in France with Ligue 1 outfit AJ Auxerre, where he impressed with consistent performances at the heart of defence.

Cardiff City confirmed his arrival in an official statement:“Cardiff City FC are delighted to welcome central defender Gabriel Osho to the club. The 27-year-old arrives in the Welsh capital on a permanent transfer from Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre, signing a four-year deal with the Bluebirds for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.”
