Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Anthony Nwakaeme has agreed contract extension with the newly crowned Turkish champion Trabzonspor, BSNsports.com.ng understand

Trabzonspor proved all the bookmakers wrong as they emerged the 2021/2022 champions of the Turkish Super lig.

Former Hapoel Be'er Sheva of Israel striker was instrumental to the team's achievements and success as he posted amazing performance for the team.

His contract discussions has been on since winter but his agent Denis Tuker on Wednesday confirmed that both parties have agreed on the extension.

Nwakaeme netted 11 goals and 5 assists for Trabzonspor this season and is expected to be in the team when the UEFA Champions League resume later in the year
