Nigeria international Akor Adams has dismissed reports linking him with a move away from Spanish La Liga side Sevilla, insisting that he remains focused on the club despite speculation surrounding his future, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Adams joined Sevilla from French Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier last summer and enjoyed a decent campaign with the Spanish club.

However, recent reports suggested that the Super Eagles forward could be set for a return to France, with Olympique Marseille reportedly interested in securing his services during the transfer window.

Reacting to the rumours, Adams stated that he has not received any information regarding a possible transfer and stressed that his priority remains Sevilla.

"I have not heard anything about that, but this is the transfer window, and there will always be many rumours," Adams told Footy-Africa.

"It is not something that is important to me at the moment. I have a contract with Sevilla, and we have just come through a difficult season, so now is not really the time to focus on such things.

"It all depends on what happens, but I am happy at Sevilla. Rumours are part of football, but it is not something I am thinking about right now."

The striker's comments are likely to ease concerns among Sevilla supporters, with Adams reaffirming his commitment to the club as preparations begin for the new season.
