Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Junior Ajayi has stated that he might likely return to Egypt in future if the right offer arrived, BSNsports.com.ng can report
Ajayi spent five years with Al Ahly, winning multiple major trophies with the club before his journey with the Reds came to end in 2021.
Speaking about his future, Ajayi addressed the rumors of Zamalek negotiations while also touching on multiple other issues
“I watched all Al Ahly games in the CAF Champions League including ES Setif matches.
Al Ahly play the same way at home and away. We played in Morocco before and I think the Champions League final taking place there is an advantage.
“I think Al Ahly will win the third consecutive title, it wouldn’t be a surprise. They have a great team.
I still have six months until my contract expires, I’ll think about my future after that.
“Negotiations with Zamalek are nothing but rumours. I have agents that talk to me about a possible return to Egypt but I am focused on my team right now," he said.
Ajayi's deal with the Libyan side Al-Nasr will end by the end of this year.
