Nottingham Forest is weighing up the possibility of terminating Emmanuel Dennis’ contract as part of their summer squad overhaul, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian international has been frozen out of Nuno Espírito Santo’s plans and did not feature in pre-season matches, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

 “Emmanuel Dennis could leave before the window shuts,” Jacobs revealed on X.

“One option discussed is a mutual contract termination, with Dennis no longer part of Nottingham Forest’s plans.”

The 26-year-old reportedly earns £40,000 per week, and freeing up that wage is viewed as a priority for the club.

Jacobs further noted that several Serie A clubs are monitoring the forward as the transfer deadline nears.

Dennis spent the second half of last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, where he struggled to impress, making just seven appearances without scoring and picking up a red card against Norwich City in March.
