Super Eagles Goalkeeper Keeps Hope Alive Despite League Home Defeat

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Paralimni goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye, has refused to be weighed down despite the team defeat at home to Karmiotissa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian international joined the Cypriot side this summer from the Israeli club Hapoel Jerusalem.

Paralimni played home to Karmiotissa on Saturday and suffered a 0-1 home defeat.

The Nigerian goaltender made numerous saves in the game to keep a respectable score line.

"Winning a game, you're no better. By losing a game, you're no worse. 

"I think by keeping that mentality, it really keeps things in perspective for me. Thanks for all your support", he said.
