Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has officially submitted a transfer request to South Africa Premier League side Chippa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nwabali, who has been a standout performer since joining the Chilli Boys, has established himself as a key figure at the club, playing a major role in helping them retain their top-flight status through a series of consistent and commanding displays.

The management of Chippa United confirmed receiving the transfer request from the Nigerian international, while also expressing appreciation for his professionalism, commitment, and contributions to the team.

In a brief statement, the club acknowledged Nwabali’s desire to explore new opportunities, describing him as “a model professional who has served the club with dedication and pride.”

Although the reasons behind the request were not fully disclosed, sources close to the player suggest it is linked to growing interest from clubs seeking his services following his impressive performances at club level and his rising profile with the Super Eagles.

Nwabali’s future is now expected to be the subject of discussions between Chippa United and interested clubs, as the goalkeeper looks set for a new chapter in his career.
