Super Eagles Hold First Training Session in Cairo With 12 More Players Expected

The Super Eagles will hold their first official training session on Monday evening in Cairo following the arrival of additional players to camp ahead of their international fixture, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Training is scheduled to take place at 8:00 p.m. local time at the main bowl of the Cairo International Stadium, with head coach Eric Chelle and his technical crew expected to oversee proceedings.
As of Monday morning, 11 players had reported to camp at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo. They include goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie, alongside Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Igho Ogbu and Tochukwu Nnadi.
FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi arrived early Monday morning, bringing the number of players in camp to 11.
According to the latest update from the team’s camp, 12 more players are expected to arrive later today (Monday). Their arrival would raise the total number of players to 23, enough to prosecute the Super Eagles’ test match against Egypt’s Pharaohs scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday).
