Players and officials of the Super Eagles departed Abuja for Kumasi aboard Air Peace on Thursday morning, ahead of Friday’s 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs with Black Stars of Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In a video from NFF TV, the players and officials were seen getting set to board their Air Peace flight from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
However, the team will hold a training session inside the Babayara stadium in Kumasi for the first leg tie.
It was reported that the weather is normal with temperature between 24 and 35 degrees.
The first leg encounter will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi with 40,528-capacity on Friday. Super Eagles will have a feel of the stadium today before the D-Day match on Friday.
The return leg will be played four days later at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
