Super Eagles Midfielder Becomes A Father In Turkey

Injured Nigeria midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu has become a father in Turkey, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okechukwu who is on the payroll of Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig has been out of action in the last 2 months due to injury.

The former Bayelsa United player has spent most of his playing career in the Turkish lig representing various clubs including Istanbul Baseksehir.

He welcomed a new baby on Tuesday and the club joined him in the celebration.

" Our professional football player Azubuike Okechukwu experienced the joy of becoming a father.

We congratulate the Azubuike family and Gabriella on a healthy long life", the club statement said.
