Following the red card he received in the UEFA Champions League match against AC Milan, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Club Brugge midfielder Ralph Onyedika is set to get heavy sanction from the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria international was sent off in the 40th minute and Brugge ended up losing the game 3-1.

According to the club source, they are scrutinizing the situation because it will be the second time Onyedika will get a red card in a continental game this year.

"I do hear that he is a special guest, so someone from the staff should be able to get through to him. He has been there for a long time, that person should be there by now".

"That he is a very good footballer, no one doubts that, but it all has to be more professional".

"I find that even worse than that red card. I also find those two yellow cards in three minutes and, therefore, red in the European semi-final against Fiorentina last season even worse. That switch is going to have to be turned around."

"This was a justified red card and he will get a suspension of two, maybe even three match days. Bad for him and also bad for the team", Hein Vanhaezebrouck told Het Nieuwsblad.
