Super Eagles Midfielder Frustrated Not Playing Regularly For Leverkusen

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Nathan Tella has expressed his frustration for not playing regularly for Bayer Leverkusen this season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tella joined the German Bundesliga side in 2022 and was one of the outstanding players last season as the club won their first Bundesliga title.

Tella expressed his frustration while speaking to Bild, but the club coach, Xabi Alonso, urged him to be patient.

"It’s frustrating, I’ll be honest, but I spoke to the coach. He [Alonso] assured me that I’ll get opportunities and that I have to be patient,” he told BILD. 

“When I get a chance, I have to show myself. I think I’ve done well, and I also think I’m training well.”
