Super Eagles Midfielder Nwakali Set For Cyprus Move

Super Eagles midfielder Kelechi Nwakali is set to continue his career in Cyprus following his departure from English EFL side Barnsley FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nwakali is on the verge of joining Cypriot First Division club PAC Omonia. 

The 28-year-old Nigerian midfielder mutually terminated his contract with Barnsley and became a free agent, paving the way for his proposed move to Cyprus.

Nwakali, a former Golden Eaglets star, has previously featured in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and England during his professional career.

The move to PAC Omonia is expected to provide the midfielder with a fresh opportunity as he looks to revive his career and establish himself in the Cypriot top flight.
