Super Eagles Midfielder Sees Red In Germany

By Sampson Adedeji

It was a day to forget for Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Afeez Aremu as he was sent off in Kaiserslautern's 1-2 home loss to Herta Berlin, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since moving to Kaiser, Aremu has spent most of his time in treatment and only made a first-team return on Saturday.

He was introduced into the game in the 46th minute, a very tensed match that earned the midfielder a marching order in the 55th minute.

Toure scored the opening goal in the 16th minute and Niederlechna equalised for the away side while Kompl netted the winning and condemned Kaiser to a home defeat.
