Super Eagles Midfielder Set For La Liga Return

Nigeria international Christantus Uche is set to return to Getafe CF this summer following the completion of his loan spell at Crystal Palace FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Uche joined the Premier League side on loan last summer but has struggled to secure regular playing time at Selhurst Park.

The attacking midfielder’s move included an obligatory purchase clause that would have been activated if he started 10 league matches in the Premier League.

However, the Nigerian international is yet to start a league game for the Eagles this season.

Uche has made 14 league appearances for Crystal Palace, with all of them coming from the bench.

With the condition for the permanent transfer unlikely to be met, the midfielder is expected to return to Getafe ahead of next season in Spain’s La Liga.
