Super Eagles Need Off-Ball Striker - Julius Aghahowa

Former Nigeria International Julius Efosa Aghahowa has stated that the Super Eagles require off-ball attackers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Aghahowa, a former Wigan Athletic forward made the statement during a chat with Brila FM radio on Wednesday.

"Everybody wants to get the ball at their feet, nobody is trying to take those runs that, even if you don't get the ball, you come back and try again.

"We need strikers who will make those runs behind defenders and also players who can pick out that kind of players and deliver the ball", he said.

Aghahowa scored Super Eagles only at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan.
