Ahead of the encounter with the Pharaohs, the Super Eagles will open a training camp in Cairo on 10 December as they fine-tune their readiness for the continental showpiece.
The three-time African champions are using the Egypt friendly as a strategic rehearsal for their Group C fixture against Tunisia, another North African opponent.
Nigeria will open their AFCON 2025 campaign against Tanzania on 23 December, before taking on Uganda in their final group-stage match.
The tournament kicks off on 21 December, with hosts Morocco facing Comoros in the opening game.
Having lost the FIFA world cup back-to-back since 2022, Super Eagles are condemned to winning the trophy where they came second to the host Cote D'ivoire in the last edition.
