Super Eagles Outscore Mahanaim In Friendly Ahead Ghana Clash

Super Eagles defeated Mahanaim 3-2 in a friendly played in Abuja on Thursday ahead of the Africa Nations Championship qualifiers against Ghana.

The match was played at FIFA Goal Project Technical Centre, Package B Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja 

Promise Amadi, Chidebere Nwobodo and Ebube Duru were on target for Super Eagles.

Aliu Baba registered a brace for Mahanaim FC.

Ojo Olorunleke started behind the sticks for the Super Eagles.

Isa Ali, Sani Faisal, Temple Emekayi and Kazie Enyinnaya made up the back four. Mohammed Zilkifilu and Andy Okpe played upfront.

Kenechukwu Agu, Kattoh Hagai, Promise Amadi and Chidebere Nwobodo completed the starting XI.

Uche Onwuasonaya, Hafeez Nosir, Valentine Odoh, Ozor Philip, Ebube Duru, and Chijioke Akuneto climbed off the bench.

The Eagles will square up against the Black Galaxies in the first leg in Cape Coast on Sunday, 28th August with the return encounter billed for the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, 3rd September.

The winner on aggregate will earn a berth at the 7th African Nations Championship finals to be staged in Algeria early next year.
