Super Eagles Peseiro Is Working In Nigeria Without Work Permit -Foreign Affairs Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may be at loggerhead over Super Eagles new Coach Jose Peseiro working in Nigeria without a valid document.


Recall the Portuguese was formally announced to take charge the country’s senior national men’s football team on May 14, after the position became vacant following the sacking of Franco-German Gernot Rohr.  



BSNSports.com.ng gathered from a tweet posted on Twitter by @Konks4real on Wednesday evening that officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ministry have frowned at NFF decision to allow Peseiro work in Nigeria without a permit.

Peseiro, a former Head Coach of the Saudi Arabian and Venezuelan National Teams lead the Super Eagles out for the first time during the tour of the U.S, were they lost to Mexico 2-1 and 1-0 to Ecaudor.



The Portuguese will be seeking his first win on the job as Nigeria battle Sierra Leone and Soa Tome and Principe in an AFCON 2023 qualifier on 9th and 11th of this month.
