Super Eagles booked their place in the semifinals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Algeria in the quarterfinals, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Second-half goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams proved decisive at the Marrakech Stadium, where 32,465 spectators witnessed a disciplined and clinical Nigerian performance. Both goals came early after the restart, shifting the momentum firmly in Nigeria’s favour and sealing qualification for the last four.

Following the match, BSN Sports assessed the performances of the Super Eagles players, with Osimhen emerging as the standout performer on the night.
