Super Eagles Resume Training Ahead Of Crunch Semifinal Clash With Morocco

Super Eagles have returned to their base in Fez and resumed preparations for their semifinal clash at the 2025 African Nations Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The three-time African champions arrived in Fez on Sunday, a day after recording a convincing 2–0 victory over Algeria in the quarterfinal played on Saturday at the Marrakech Stadium. The win secured Nigeria a place in the last four of the competition.
Victor Osimhen broke the deadlock shortly after the restart, scoring in the 47th minute. The Galatasaray forward later turned provider, setting up Akor Adams, who doubled Nigeria’s advantage in the 67th minute to seal the semifinal berth.
Following their return, the Super Eagles held a light recovery session on Sunday, consisting mainly of walking exercises. The team is expected to resume full training on Monday with the last session on Tuesday, with focus shifting to tactical and technical preparations ahead of the crucial semifinal encounter.
Nigeria will face tournament hosts Morocco on Wednesday at the Rabat Stadium. Morocco booked their place in the semifinals after defeating Cameroon in their quarterfinal fixture.
