Super Eagles Star Lookman Back In Atalanta Training, Faces Possible Sanction

Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has resumed training with Atalanta following the collapse of his proposed move to Inter Milan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The winger had been absent in recent days as he attempted to force through a transfer to the San Siro. Although Lookman reportedly reached personal terms with Inter, Atalanta and the Nerazzurri failed to strike an agreement. The deal officially fell apart on Monday after Inter withdrew from negotiations.

Lookman returned to the club’s Zingonia training base on Tuesday morning, accompanied by his father and a close friend, and immediately began individual training sessions.

Meanwhile, Atalanta’s management is expected to deliberate on possible disciplinary measures against the Nigerian international for his actions during the transfer saga.
