Alex Iwobi, a winger for Fulham FC and a key member of Super Eagles, was the victim of a reported armed burglary at his residence in England, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to multiple reports, unidentified assailants broke into the footballer’s home and confronted him during the incident. The attackers allegedly held Iwobi at knifepoint while they searched the property.

Sources indicate that the burglars made away with several high-value items, including designer wristwatches, jewelry, two iPhones, and a MacBook laptop. A significant amount of cash—reportedly around £200,000 stored in a safe—was also taken.

The total estimated value of the stolen items is believed to be in the region of £500,000.

After the suspects fled the scene, Iwobi was able to free himself and alert authorities. Law enforcement agencies have since launched an investigation into the incident.

Initial reports suggest that neither Iwobi nor any members of his household sustained physical injuries during the ordeal.
