Super Eagles Stars Miss Out On Marc-Vivien Foé Award Nomination In France

Despite their impressive consistency at club level this season, Super Eagles duo Moses Simon and Chidozie Awaziem have been omitted from the shortlist for the prestigious Marc-Vivien Foé Award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Simon, who has been a standout performer for Paris FC, and Awaziem of FC Nantes were both expected to be among the nominees following their consistent displays in the French league this campaign.

The Marc-Vivien Foé Award, established in honour of the late Cameroon international Marc-Vivien Foé, is presented annually to the best African player in France’s top flight. 

However, when the nominees were officially unveiled on Friday, the Nigerian pair were notably absent.

The shortlisted players include:
