When the trio of Nigeria's Super Eagles players Maduka Okoye, William Troost Ekong and Samuel Kalu return from the international break they will be playing under a new coach, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Their English Championship club Watford FC on Monday announced Slaven Bilic as the new manager for the club.

They had earlier in the day announced the contract termination of Rob Edward as the manager of the team due to poor performance after just 10 matches in charge.

"Watford FC confirms Slaven Bilić as its new Head Coach on an 18-month contract, subject to receiving the relevant work permit.

"He replaces Rob Edwards who, along with assistant Richie Kyle, has left the Vicarage Road", the club confirmed

Former Croatia international player and national team coach, Bilić’s most recent work in the country was to guide West Bromwich Albion to promotion in the 2019/20 season.
