Super Eagles Trio Win Scottish Cup

Scottish Premier League side, Rangers FC bounced back strongly on Saturday afternoon and emerged winners of the Scottish Cup, BSNsports.com.ng report

The Gers Wednesday lost the Europa League final to the German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt via a penalty shootout.

They quickly picked themselves up for another final on Saturday in the cup game against Heart of Midlothian and they ended up winning the trophy.

The trio of Super Eagles players Leon Balogun, Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo were all in action for the keenly contested final

Balogun who sit out of the Wednesday game and Bassey who was outstanding played the entire duration of the game while Aribo was replaced in the 105th minute by the Zambia International Fashion Sinkala.

The game entered into extra time after 90 minutes of a scoreless draw.

Two goals in 3 minutes through Jack and Wright in the 94th and 97th minutes handed the trophy to Rangers.
