Super Eagles Winger, Anayo Iwala Donates Cash To Ailing Henry Nwosu

Super Eagles winger, Anayo Iwala has donated cash to ailing former Nigerian internation Henry Nwosu (MON).

Nwosu, a gifted midfielder was the youngest member of Nigeria's victorious 1980 African Nations Cup squad, and scored the only goal for Nigeria at the 1980 Olympics is currently sick and on admission at the Asaba Specialist hospital in Delta State.

The 59-year-old, who is being taken care of at the hospital by his two sisters, revealed he was battling to stay alive, having spent all his fortune in the process.

Anayo Iwala who opened his goal account for CR Belouizdad yesterday (Sunday) in their 3-1 win over NC Magra in the Algerian Ligue I clash, was moved by news of the health status of Henry Nwosu and has supported him financially.

 Iwala had spells with Excellent FC, Delta Force FC, Enymba FC and Esperance of Tunisia but is currently on loan to CR Belouizdad of Algeria.
