Super Falcons Can Win The 2023 World Cup- Oshoala

Super Falcons and FC Barcelona Feminino forward Asisat Oshoala has reiterated her confidence in Nigeria team to deliver at World Cup in 2023, BSNsports.com.ng report.

Super Falcons qualified for the 2023 World Cup which will be staged in Australia and New Zealand when they qualified for the semi-final of the just concluded 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco.

While speaking to FIFA media, Oshoala maintained that football is a game and luck counts a lot in the game.

"For the national team, 2023 World Cup is the next big tournament for us, obviously I couldn't participate in the later stages of WAFCON because I got injured.

"But I'm really looking forward to it, to be honest, I want to be there, I want to see the atmosphere at the World Cup, it's always beautiful to be there.

" Results are decided on the pitch and we've got a good team coming from Africa, ( potentially) 6 countries.

"Who says we can't win it? Everyone expected Nigeria to win WAFCON but we were beaten and had to contest for the third-place match.

"Football is a game of luck," she said.
