French side Paris FC has announced the departure of Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nnadozie first joined Paris FC in 2020 following her impressive performance at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
She quickly became a key player for the team, helping Paris FC make its mark in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The club made the announcement on Friday, while also acknowledging Nnadozie’s significant contributions during her five-year stay.
“After arriving from Rivers Angels in 2020, Chiamaka Nnadozie immediately became a key member of the team,” Paris FC said in a statement.
“She was voted Best Goalkeeper in the Arkema Première League during the 2023/2024 season. Nnadozie leaves Paris FC after helping the team win the Coupe de France, where she played a major role in their triumph.”
“Paris FC warmly thanks Chiamaka for these five years, which will forever hold a special place in the history of the club. We wish her the very best in the subsequent chapters of her career.”
