Super Falcons Midfielder Lifts Super Cup With Benfica

Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe was on cloud nine after helping her club SL Benfica Feminine side to a Super Cup title in Portugal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ucheibe was one of the outstanding players for Nigeria's Super Falcons in the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The Nigerian international was adjudged to have won more balls and tackles in the women's Mundial.

Ucheibe was in action on Wednesday night when Benfica Feminine face Sporting CP Feminine in the Super Cup.

The game ended 1-1 in regulation time but Benfica prevailed 3-0 on penalty shoot out.
