Super Falcons Midfielder Receives Warm Welcome On Club Return

Nigeria's Super Falcons midfielder, Halimatu Ayinde, received a warm welcome from her club teammates at FC Rosengard, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ayinde was one of the players who represented Nigeria at the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

She played a role in Super Falcons reaching the second round of the competition ousting the Olympic champion Canada.

She returned to her Swedish club last weekend for the first time after the World Cup.

The reactions of the club management and players excited the Nigerian international.

"I'm humbled by the warm reception and honour given me by players and officials of Rosengard, following my participation at the recently concluded FIFA WWC in Australia and New Zealand. This means a lot to me. Thanks, FC Rosengard", she said.
