Super Falcons Step Up Cameroon Preparations As Camp Hits 15

Fifteen players are now in camp as Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, intensify preparations for their upcoming international friendlies against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in Yaoundé, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The latest arrivals in camp include Rinsola Babajide, Shukurat Oladipo, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Kafayat Shittu, increasing the squad to 15 players.
The team opened camp on Wednesday with 11 early arrivals, among them captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Monday Gift, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Christy Ucheibe.
The Super Falcons are scheduled to continue preparations with a training session tonight at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé.
Head coach Justine Madugu will lead his side into the first friendly encounter on Saturday as Nigeria renews its rivalry with the Indomitable Lionesses.
The two teams last met in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where Nigeria secured a 2-0 victory courtesy of a brace from Rasheedat Ajibade. The win marked Nigeria’s 15th triumph in 21 meetings between the two sides.
