Super Falcons Train In Antalya Ahead Haiti, New Zealand Friendlies

Super Falcons on Wednesday afternoon had their first training session at the Emir Sports Complex Antalya, Turkey under watchful eyes of head coach, Randy Waldrum, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Before the training, Barcelona forward, Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie have arrived in camp to swell the number of players in camp to 20 with three American based players expected to arrive later today. Defender, Michelle Alozie and forwards, Jennifer Echegini and Uchenna Kanu all based in USA were the trio yet to hit the camp.

The nine times African champions will on Friday trade tackles with Haiti in their first international friendly match before taking on World Cup co-hosts New Zealand next Tuesday at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya. The two Friendlies are part 9f the preparation for a better outing at the FIFA Women's world Cup in July.

Nigeria will open the world cup campaign with Canada on 21st July before taking on Australia six days later. The last group game versus Republic of Ireland takes place on 31st July, 2023.
