The highly anticipated international friendly between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon has once again been postponed, just hours before kickoff, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Originally scheduled for last weekend, the match was first delayed due to Cameroon’s late arrival in Nigeria.

It was rescheduled for Monday, but according to the latest update from the Falcons' media team, the match will now take place on Tuesday, June 3.

“Our friendly against Cameroon will now hold on Tuesday, June 3 at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta, following a late request from FECAFOOT and CAF’s approval. New date, same determination. Let’s get it,” the statement read.

The friendly is part of both teams’ preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, set to be held in Morocco.
