The right-back of the Super Falcons - Michell Chiwendu Alozie, has drawn accolades and commendations from Nigerian fans after her dazzling display thus far at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, bsnsports.com.ng reports.

The 26-year-old defender, who plies her trade for American Club Houston Dash, has played every minute of both group games against Canada and Australia while averaging over 7.0 score in player ratings overall from the right flank.

Her dazzling runs supporting the attack and the defense have been exceptional, with her precise passing ability, quick thinking, and ball movement all part of the total package produced by the American-born Nigerian international.

Following the Super Falcons' much-anticipated win over the co-host Australia in the early hours of Thursday, Alozie drew more accolades from fans across social media, with some waxing lyrical about her footballing abilities. In contrast, others gushed over her aura off the pitch as well.

On Twitter;

@Pope_micha said, "Ashley Plumptre and Michelle Alozie have my heart. They have both been the spark of the game.

@kraizyPaul said, "Alozie Michelle, baller on the pitch, such a sweet babe off the pitch."

@Wale_Aduroja boasted, "Michelle Alozie is mature."

One fan particularly reeled out Alozie's portfolio off the pitch that painted a more colorful picture of the elegant defender.

@therealdaddymo1 said, "Michelle Alozie is a Yale Grad Microbiologist, working in a cancer research lab at Texas Children's cancer hospital, and is also playing as a defender for the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the Women's World Cup in Australia." He closed his comments with clapping emojis.

Michelle was born and raised in Apple Valley, California, USA, to Nigerian parents from Imo State in Southeastern Nigeria, hence her middle name - "Chiwendu".
