Surprise! Dele-Bashiru Names Former Man City Star His Idol

SS Lazio newly signed Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru surprisingly named former Ivorian International Yaya Toure as his idol, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The hardworking midfielder joined the Italian Serie A side last weekend and he granted his first interview on Tuesday.

Former Hatayaspor star surprisingly picked Toure as his idol and the one he wished to emulate.

"I ask the fans to support us as much as possible, I will give 100% to give them a positive season. My idol has always been Yaya Toure.

I try to replicate his way of being on the pitch and I consider myself a box to box midfielder, I like running and shooting.

I hope that my characteristics can marry with Serie A.
