T-20 World Cup Qualifier: Yellow Greens Depart For Zimbabwe

In preparations for the upcoming ICC T-20 World Cup sub-qualifier, Nigeria's male cricket team Yellow Greens have departed the country, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The invited 14 players have been in closed camp in the past weeks to be in top shape for the regional qualifier. 

They left the shores of the country late on Monday night for Harare, Zimbabwe to continue their readiness for the qualifier.

They will observe their pre-tournament preparations in Zimbabwe before departing for Kigali, Rwanda venue of the qualifier.

However, while in Zimbabwe, the Yellow Greens are expected to play senior franchise teams and other national set-ups. 

This tournament will also afford the new Head Coach and High Performance Manager of the Federation, Steve Tikolo an opportunity to see first-hand the team play in competitive mode.
