T20 World Cup Qualifier: Yellow Greens, Rwanda Game Abandoned

The International Cricket Council T20 African World Cup qualifier continued on Friday in Namibia but the game between Nigeria's Yellow Greens and Rwanda was abandoned, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side started its campaign in the qualifier on Thursday on a losing note to Kenya and was aiming to bounce back with Friday's game against Rwanda.

The game started with Yellow Greens dominating the game before heavy rain halted the proceedings and the organizers decided to abandon the game.

Before the abandonment, Team Nigeria was already leading by 2 wickets.

Yellow Greens will not be in action on Saturday as they will be observing their rest day.
