T20 World Cup Qualifier: Yellow Greens Suffer Defeat To Kenya

The 2024 International Cricket Council T20 African World Cup qualifier served off in Namibia on Thursday and it was not a good outing for Nigeria's Yellow Greens, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side arrived in the tournament brimming with confidence after their victory in the maiden edition of the African Trophy Tour that was held in Nigeria.

But they met a stronger Kenya side who dominated the proceedings from the beginning and Yellow Greens was unable to contain them.

Despite many tries from Yellows Greens, it was the Kenya side that prevailed by 4 wickets.

Yellow Greens will aim to return to the winning ways in their second game slated for Friday.
