Taekwondo: Rwanda To Host Senior African Championship

Following their successful staging of sporting events in recent times, Rwanda has been announced as host of the 2022 Africa Senior Taekwondo Championship, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

In the last few weeks BK Arena in Kigali hosted BAL basketball competition and the Kwibuka T20 Women's tournament is currently ongoing in the country.

 The event which will take place at the Kigali Arena will see 19 teams battling for medals in various categories in the defensive sport.

217 Taekwondo Sports athletes from 19 teams including Nigeria are expected to compete in the four-day event.

Among the various forms of Taekwondo, the athletes will compete in are Poomsae and Kyorungi.

The competition is slated for July 13th to 17th, 2022.
