Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi has heaped praises on his club Nottingham Forest for surviving the drop, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite the rough start, the Red have managed to maintain their top-flight status for the second consecutive season.

Awoniyi played an active role in avoiding relegation last season but this season is a bit different as an injury hampered his progress with the team.
