Team FCT Emerges Overall Winner At 2nd Japanese Ambassador Karate Championship

Team FCT emerged the overall winner at the just concluded 2nd Japanese Ambassador Karate Championship held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja

Team FCT won a total of medals which comprises of five gold, three silver and five bronze medals . Strata Base and Federal Fire Service occupied the Second and Third positions with nine and seven medals respectively. Nasarawa, Rivers and Edo states are Third, Fourth and Fifth with three, six and one medal each. Nasarawa won one gold and two silver medals while Rivers' six includes one gold and five bronze medals Edo won only one gold. Taraba, Lagos, Enugu and Niger States won one medal each.

Team Ondo, Oyo, Benue, Borno, Kwara, Kaduna and Team Kogi ended the championship without winning any medal.

The Second Japanese Ambassador Karate men and women Championship was competed in 15 different categories.
