Team Nigeria continued its impressive outing at the CAA Region II U18/U20 Championships in Dakar, Senegal, by claiming its first gold medal of Day Two through the girls' U18 medley relay team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian quartet of Rosemary Nwankwo, Faith Ezechukwu, Tejiri Ugoh, and Jecinter Lawrence produced a commanding performance to win the event, crossing the finish line in a time of 2:24.29.

The victory handed Nigeria another gold medal, further boosting the country's medal tally at the regional championships.
